FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Not sure which option is right for you? Here are the most common questions we get asked.
What's the difference between online and on-site training?
On-site training is delivered at your premises by an expert fire safety trainer and includes a live fire extinguisher practical. Online training is self-paced, accessible anywhere, and ideal for individuals or larger teams on a budget. Both are fully accredited.
Which option is legally compliant?
Both. Our online and on-site training fully meet the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRFSO) and are IFE accredited - recognised by insurers, auditors, and enforcement authorities nationwide.
How long does the training take?
On-site training runs for approximately half a day (3 hours), including the live practical. The online Training takes between 1 - 2 hours and can be completed in one go or spread across multiple sessions.
Can you train more than 12 people on-site?
Yes. Our on-site rate covers up to 12 people at £420. For larger groups we can arrange additional sessions or provide a custom quote - just get in touch and we'll find the best solution for your team.
Do trainees receive a certificate?
Yes. Every trainee receives an IFE-accredited certificate upon completion. Online trainees also receive a CPD certificate. Certificates are recognised by insurers and auditors and can be downloaded or printed instantly.
How often does fire warden training need to be renewed?
There is no fixed legal renewal period, but best practice and most insurers recommend refresher training every 1–3 years. We'll remind you when your team is due so you never fall out of compliance.
Do you cover our area?
Yes. We deliver on-site training nationwide across the UK. Trainer travel expenses are added to the training fee. Contact us with your postcode for a full quote including travel. Online training is available to everyone, anywhere.
Is the training tailored to our organisation?
Yes. For on-site training, our trainers adapt the session to your specific workplace, risk environment, and sector - whether you're a care home, warehouse, school, or office. Online content covers all workplace types and is regularly updated.
